Location and closure dates
The entrance is in the City Market courtyard closest to Ellis Square. The museum identifies metered street spaces plus the Whitaker Street and Robinson garages nearby, but the city controls current rates. The museum says it closes on St. Patrick's Day and may close for private events or large groups. Check its schedule-update page and ticket calendar before counting on a particular time.
The speakeasy is part of some tickets, not every plan
Congress Street Up sits inside the museum sequence and is included in several packages. Guests under 21 can visit the museum, while alcohol requires a valid government-issued photo ID and age 21 or older. The museum says children age 4 and under are free on the guided visit with an accompanying adult. Treat the cocktail class as its own activity; it does not fit inside a one-hour museum stop.
Access and visitor policies
The operator reports an elevator to the museum's second floor. For nighttime speakeasy access, it directs guests to the front door and asks them to call about access. Food and drink are not permitted in galleries before the speakeasy, and service animals are allowed.
