I'm Alex. I do the checking.

I turn Savannah's parking rules, transit schedules, museum tickets, tour listings and weather records into plans you can use. I am not a Savannah local, and I won't borrow a local's voice for credibility. If I took the tour, ate the meal or stayed in the room, I say so and give the date. Otherwise, I stick to what can be checked.

That means I can tell you Mrs. Wilkes serves weekday lunch and doesn't take cards. I can't crown its fried chicken from a desk. I can recommend a trolley when a mile of brick is the problem without pretending I've ridden every trolley in town.

The work behind the answer

I start with the visitor's decision, then go to whoever owns the fact: the city for parking, CAT for the free shuttle, the museum for admission, NOAA for July heat and the operator for what a ticket includes. Major pages have a fact ledger, a visible check date and source links. When official pages disagree, the guide says which one it used.

"Best" needs a reason

Best for a first look is different from best when you can't walk far. A rating backed by a thousand reviews means more than a perfect score backed by three. Commission never decides the order, and any drawback that changes your time, cost or access belongs beside the recommendation, not buried below it.
